Edit config/moria.properties in your Minecraft or server folder, then restart. On multiplayer servers, the server’s settings apply to everyone.
Moria creates the file on first launch and adds new settings after updates without replacing your choices. If a value is invalid, the error message names the setting to fix.

Generation settings
Higher chances make structures more common, but they still need suitable terrain. Even at 100%, a mine needs enough space to fit. The rates page explains the default chances.
Keep these settings stable once you start a world. Changes affect newly explored areas and can leave abrupt terrain borders. They can also make /moria find report different locations from those created with your old settings.
A value of zero disables the corresponding structure or feature. A few settings work together:
structure_watch_chance_percent=0disables all watch bridges, including extra bridges.avenue_chance_percent=0also disables avenues connected to gates.- Gates need somewhere to lead. Disabling every possible destination prevents them from appearing.
lode_frequencycontrols giant deposits; small ore pockets remain available.
Creature health and damage
Two HP equal one heart. Each creature has a health setting and a damage multiplier. A multiplier of 1 uses normal damage, 2 doubles it, and 0 prevents damage. Knockback and other effects can still occur at zero.
The Basalisk’s health setting applies to its exposed head. Its body segments have separate armor. Natural spawn settings do not affect creatures summoned with commands or produced by spawners.
Spawner waves
Adjust the number of dwarves per wave, the nearby dwarf limit, the player activation range and the delay between waves. Larger delay multipliers mean a longer wait.
Set dwarf_spawner_count=0 to disable dwarf waves, or king_max_reinforcements=0 to stop the king from summoning dwarves.
Ambience
Set exploration_ambience=false to turn off exploration sounds. ambience_volume adjusts their volume alongside Minecraft’s ambient sound slider. Its default is 0.5.
