Ruins
Ruins lie within the cavern walls or along the avenues. Their entrances lead to mines, workshops, tombs and royal halls.
| Structure | What you will find |
|---|---|
| Mine | Passages across several levels, ore stores and revenant miners |
| Forge | Workshops, furnaces and metal stores |
| Fortified gate | Defended entrances leading to avenues or buried halls |
| Watch bridge | Towers guarding a crossing over a fissure |
| Archives | Bookshelves, reading rooms and enchanted books |
| Necropolis | Tombs defended by revenants |
| Hanging city | A buried dwarven city with valuable stores |
| Throne room | The Fallen King and a sealed treasury |
Look for expedition journals near the entrances. Their clues can lead you to another ruin. Looted chests do not refill.
Villages and Waystones
Inhabited dwarven villages contain homes, workshops and crops. Minecraft villagers tend them and offer ordinary trades. Iron golems protect the settlement.
With Waystones installed, you’ll find a waystone in each village square and in the passage leading to a throne room. Activate the throne waystone before the fight so you can return after death.
Throne rooms and treasuries
The Fallen King stands between you and the treasury behind his throne. Defeat him to open its gate and claim the royal reward chest, along with the three other chests inside.
The king does not respawn on his own. With Lootr installed, each player can collect their own royal reward. See loot and compatibility for details.
Server administrators can locate a structure or reset a throne encounter.
