Moria’s ruins are guarded by revenant dwarves. Out in the caverns, watch for the Basalisk beneath your feet. The Fallen King awaits in his throne room. These enemies do not appear on Peaceful difficulty.
Revenant dwarves
Miners strike with their tools, guards block attacks from the front, and Mine Elders cast spells that weaken you and strengthen their allies.
Watch their wind-up before each attack. Step back from a miner’s swing, try to get around a guard’s shield, and take cover from an elder’s spells. Spawners in the ruins can bring more dwarves into the fight.
Basalisk
The Basalisk is a stone serpent that moves along the surface and beneath the rock. Break its body and tail segments to expose its head, then finish it off.
Listen for the warning sounds and watch for bursts of stone before its ground attacks.
Fallen King
The Fallen King guards his throne with a hammer. After an introduction accompanied by Dûr Kharûn, he attacks with heavy swings, strikes the ground and calls dwarves to his aid. He becomes faster and more dangerous as his health falls.
Defeat him to open the treasury behind the throne. His reward chest holds enchanted equipment and rare items, including elytra and totems of undying. The king does not respawn on his own.
If you use Waystones, activate the stone in the passage before the fight so you can return after death.
